South Sick Sons were excited to return for their second annual outing at the Saffron 6’s and were optimistic about a high finish.

In their brand new bright green shirts they looked to shine! Sick sons started well with a win against Team Naked Hockey, a well fought draw against young guns and a win against beginners NetFlix and Chill.

This meant a win against fellow Saxons side, Rather Play Fortnite would see the team reach the Final. Unfortunately it was bitter sweet as the young side that had been hand picked by The Sick Sons Skipper put an end to South Sick Sons hopes of taking home any silverware.

South Sick Sons finished 3rd in their group and a play-off victory sealed their final position of 5th in the tournament.

Skipper Paul Rye said 'Overall it was a blast, we had a great time. We look forward to bettering our position next year. Thank you to Eastbourne Hockey Club!'
