Our thanks to our friends at Eastbourne Hockey Club for inviting us to their annual charity tournament again this year. It was great to hear from the organisers that over £3,000 was raised by Eastbourne for Meningitis Research.

Saxons entered seven teams in this years tournament, teams and standings were as follows:

Womens Tier 1:
South Saxons Women's 1 (Captain Caitlin Merison) Shared first place with Eastbourne Womens 1's after a 0-0 result in the final.

Womens Tier 2:
Saxons Seconds (Captain Amy Stevens) 5th Place
Saxons Extras (Captain Donna Ball) 6th Place

Mens Tier 2:
Saxon Warriors (Captain Oliver Cornelius) 1st Place - Tier 2 winners after a 3-1 win in the final.
Rather be playing Fortnite (Captain Alfie Weddle) 2nd Place - Tier 2 Runners up.
South Sick Sons (Captain Paul Rye) 5th Place
Team Naked (Captain James Heafield) 7th Place
Netflicks & Chill (Captain Adrian Evans) 10th Place
